Nose
Nose is the entry gate for air and it is the main part which smells the fragrance of different things. The air enters the body through the nose and leaves through the nose. We have two holes in the nose. They are called as nostrils. The nostrils are separated from the nasal passages by septum. Nose has a mucous membrane. This helps the nose to moisturize the air and warms the air. This warm air then enters the lungs. There are hairs present in the passage of air. This prevents the dust particles from leaving the nose and reaching the lungs. If entered, sneezing helps to move that dust out. Nose helps in smelling food and helps us to even identify the taste.
